Výročie úmrtia klienta pána Oleksandra v kruhu pracovníkov Charity s modlitbou Panychídy v gréckokatolíckom Komunitno -pastoračnom centre na Podhradovej. Panychída je krátka bohoslužba za zomrelých v gréckokatolíckej a pravoslávnej cirkvi. Je súčasťou pohrebu a často sa modlí aj na konci liturgie, resp. po nej, ak bola liturgia slúžená za zosnulých. Ďakujeme všetkým prítomným za vytvorenie spoločenstva, ktoré prejavilo skutok milosrdenstva.

Skutky telesného milosrdenstva sú najmä tieto: nasýtiť hladných, ujímať sa ľudí bez prístrešia, obliekať otrhaných, navštevovať chorých a väzňov, pochovávať mŕtvych. Dávať almužnu chudobným je medzi týmito skutkami jedným z hlavných svedectiev bratskej lásky; je aj vykonávaním spravodlivosti, ktoré sa páči Bohu.

The anniversary of the death of Mr. Oleksandr’s client in the circle of Charity workers with the Panichida prayer in the Greek Catholic Community Pastoral Center on Podhradova. A panichida is a short service for the dead in the Greek Catholic and Orthodox churches. It is part of the funeral and is often prayed at the end of the liturgy, or after it, if the liturgy was served for the deceased. We thank all those present for creating a community that showed an act of mercy.

The works of corporal mercy are mainly the following: feed the hungry, take care of the homeless, clothe the ragged, visit the sick and prisoners, bury the dead. Among these acts, giving alms to the poor is one of the main testimonies of brotherly love; it is also the exercise of justice that pleases God.
